Privacy Policy
App: MeSize Last updated: August 17, 2026
MeSize ("MeSize", "we", "us", or "our") built the MeSize mobile app (the "App") to help you save and organize your own clothing and shoe sizes, body measurements, and a personal catalog of the items you own, and to offer optional features such as cloud backup, sharing, and AI virtual try-on. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles, how it is used, and the choices you have.
We designed MeSize to be private by default: your sizes, measurements, catalog, wishlist, try-on history, and photos stay on your device unless you use a feature that needs the network (for example Premium cloud sync, sharing a profile, item or wishlist, buying credits, or AI try-on).
MeSize is operated by an independent individual developer based in Poland, not a registered company. Where this document says "we", it refers to that operator (the data controller), who you can reach at the contact address in Section 13.
1. Summary
- The App works offline-first. Your sizes, measurements, catalog, wishlist, and try-on history are stored locally on your device by default.
- Creating an Account (Sign in with Apple or Google) is optional and is used to back up and sync your data across devices when you also have Premium. That backup includes your profiles, catalog, wishlist, and try-on history, together with their photos.
- Measuring an item from a photo happens entirely on your device. The photo you take to measure with is never uploaded to us.
- If you use AI try-on or buy try-on credits, the App creates a silent technical session (anonymous authentication) so we can run the feature and keep a server-side credit balance. That is not the same as signing in with Apple or Google in Settings.
- When you run a try-on, the photos you choose are sent through our backend to a third-party AI provider (FASHN) to generate a result image.
- We use no third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs. We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
- You can delete your Account and associated cloud backup data at any time from within the App. Local data is removed when you delete it in the App or uninstall.
2. Information We Handle
2.1 Information you provide
- Size & body profile: profile name, gender, build type, home country, preferred unit system (cm/in), body measurements you enter (such as chest, waist, foot, head, and finger), and the clothing/shoe sizes you save (US/EU/UK/JP).
- Catalog items: the items you add, including brand, category, size, price text, notes, and any photos you attach.
- Wishlist items: name, size, price, store details, notes, and photos you choose to save.
- Custom categories you create.
- App preferences: theme, language, and onboarding status.
- Try-on inputs you choose: a photo of a person and a garment photo (from your catalog or an upload) used only when you start a generate.
- Measuring photos: when you measure an item from a photo, the photo and the corner points you place on the reference card are used on your device to work out a size. They are not sent to us or to any third party.
- Shared items you receive: when you open a share link someone sends you, the item or wishlist it contains is saved to your Shared list on your device.
2.2 Account information (only if you sign in with Apple or Google)
- When you use Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google, we receive a secure identity token and basic profile information — typically your email address and, where available, your name. If you use Apple's Hide My Email, we only ever receive Apple's private relay address.
- We use this to create and authenticate your Account and to attach your Premium cloud backup and server Premium entitlement to you.
2.3 Technical session for try-on and credits
- To buy try-on credits and to call the try-on backend, the App may create an anonymous authentication session with our backend (Supabase). This session is a random technical identifier. It does not require your name or email, and it is not shown as an Account sign-in in Settings.
- If you later sign in with Apple or Google, we may transfer your try-on credit balance from that anonymous session to your Account so you do not lose purchased credits.
2.4 Purchase information
- Premium is a one-time (non-consumable) in-app purchase. Try-on credit packs are consumable in-app purchases. Both are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Your payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google — we never receive your card or payment details.
- To unlock Premium or grant credits, we verify the purchase with Apple's App Store Server API or Google's Play Developer API using the transaction identifier or purchase token supplied by the store.
- For Premium we store whether your Account (or device, for local unlock) is entitled. For credit packs we store a server-side credit balance and a ledger of verified purchase transactions (platform, product id, transaction id, credits granted) tied to your technical session or Account — so the same store transaction cannot be granted twice.
2.5 AI try-on processing
- When you tap generate, the App sends the selected person and garment images (processed as compressed images) to our backend, which forwards them to FASHN (a third-party virtual try-on provider) to create a result image.
- We debit one try-on credit on our servers when a generate starts; if the generate fails, that credit is refunded to your balance.
- The result image is returned to the App and saved to your try-on history. That history stays on your device unless you have Premium and are signed in — in that case it is included in your cloud backup, and the result images are uploaded to a private storage bucket like your other photos (see Section 5). We do not use your try-on photos for advertising or to train our own models.
- FASHN processes images under its own terms and privacy practices. Do not use try-on with photos of other people unless you have the right to do so.
2.6 Sharing features (optional)
- If you share a size profile, a copy of that profile is uploaded to our backend and made available via a secret link/token for a limited time.
- If you share a catalog item, a wishlist item, or your whole wishlist, a copy of that content is likewise uploaded to our backend and reachable only through the secret token in the link. For single-item shares this copy includes a small photo thumbnail of the item, if it has a photo.
- Share links carry only that random token — no sizes, photos, or other content sit in the URL itself. The stored copy is not readable or listable without the token, and it expires automatically (see Section 7).
- Anyone who has the link can view what you shared, for as long as it has not expired. Share links only with people you intend to see the content.
- You may also pass a link on through your device’s system share sheet (for example Messages or email); what happens after that depends on the app or channel you choose.
2.7 Information we do not collect
- We do not collect your precise location.
- We do not use advertising identifiers or third-party trackers.
- We do not access your contacts, and we do not scan your photo library beyond the specific photos you choose for catalog, wishlist, try-on, or measuring.
3. Device Permissions
- Photo library: requested when you pick an image for a catalog item, wishlist item, or try-on (person or clothes).
- Camera: requested if you take a photo for those features, scan a shared-profile QR code, or measure an item from a photo. Measuring runs entirely on your device.
- Files / documents (where offered): requested if you import an image from files.
You can change these permissions at any time in your device settings. Denying them only disables the related feature.
4. How We Use Information
We use the information above to:
- provide the core features of the App (save, display, and organize your sizes, measurements, catalog, and wishlist);
- authenticate your Account and keep your data in sync across your devices (when you sign in with Premium);
- verify and honor Premium and try-on credit purchases, and maintain your credit balance;
- run AI try-on generates you request (including sending images to FASHN via our backend);
- enable optional sharing you choose to start;
- remember your preferences (theme, language);
- respond to your support requests; and
- maintain the security and integrity of the service and comply with law.
We do not use your information for advertising or profiling, and we do not sell it.
5. Where Your Data Is Stored
- On your device: by default, profiles, catalog, wishlist, try-on history, your Shared list of things others sent you, and all photos are stored locally using the device’s app storage. Your Shared list is always local — it is never uploaded, and removing something from it only removes your copy.
- Premium cloud backup (optional): if you sign in with Apple or Google and have Premium, your profiles, catalog items, custom categories, app settings, wishlist items, and try-on history are backed up to our backend hosted on Supabase, along with their photos. Photos are stored in private storage buckets — separate buckets for catalog, wishlist, and try-on images — and served through short-lived signed links. Each Account can only read its own rows and its own photos.
- Try-on and credits: credit balances and verified credit-purchase records are stored on our Supabase backend, tied to your technical (anonymous) session or Account. Try-on images are sent to our backend and to FASHN to produce a result. Without Premium and sign-in, the result stays only on your device; with them, it is part of your cloud backup as described above.
- Share links (optional): shared profile, item, and wishlist payloads are stored on our backend until they expire or are removed under our retention rules. They are reachable only through the secret token in the link and cannot be listed or browsed.
Data in transit is protected with encryption (HTTPS/TLS). Data at rest is protected by the relevant hosting or AI provider.
Important: even if you never create an Apple/Google Account in Settings, using try-on, buying credits, or creating a share link will send data off your device as described above.
6. Sharing and Sub-Processors
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us operate the App, and only as needed to provide it:
Each provider processes data under its own privacy terms. We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or the public.
7. Data Retention
- Local data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App.
- Premium cloud backup is retained for as long as your Account exists. When you delete your Account from Settings, associated cloud backup data and all stored photos — catalog, wishlist, and try-on — are permanently removed.
- Credit wallet and purchase ledger are retained while the related technical session or Account exists, so we can honor your balance and prevent double-granting of the same store transaction. Deleting your Account removes data tied to that Account; an anonymous session that is never linked may remain until cleaned up or deleted under our operational practices.
- Try-on images are processed to fulfill your request. If you have Premium and are signed in, the result images are retained as part of your cloud backup until you delete the history entry or your Account; otherwise they are not kept by us. Providers may retain processing logs under their own policies for a limited time.
- Shares — profiles, catalog items, wishlist items, and whole wishlists — expire after a limited period (currently about 30 days) and then are no longer available via the link.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
- Access & correction: your data is visible and editable directly in the App.
- Deletion: you can permanently delete your Account and associated cloud backup data from Settings → Account → Delete account. This cannot be undone. You can also remove local data by deleting items in the App or uninstalling it.
- Withdraw from Premium sync: sign out to stop syncing; your data remains on your device.
- Try-on / credits: simply stop using those features. Deleting a try-on history entry in the App removes it from your cloud backup too; uninstalling removes the local copy. Your server credit balance stays with the related session/Account until that identity is deleted or transferred as described above.
- Shares: a share link stops working once it expires. Your Shared list is local, so removing an entry there removes your copy of it.
- Requests: to exercise any right, contact us at the address in Section 13. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
- Complaint: if you are in the EEA or UK, you may lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. In Poland this is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, private storage with signed access links where applicable, server-side enforcement of credit spends for try-on, and access controls so that each Account can only read its own backup data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children's Privacy
MeSize is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country, such as 16 in parts of the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. International Users
Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, including where Supabase and FASHN operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers. By using the App, you understand your information may be transferred as described in this policy.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice within the App. Your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
